This was the first clinic I visited to get a consultation for male double-eyelid surgery!
When I went after making a reservation, I was taken straight into the male director’s room, and when I said I wanted a consultation for double-eyelid surgery, he immediately said he did not recommend it. When I asked why, he said my upper eyelids protrude too much, so if I had surgery, they could come down over the double eyelid and make me look like a toad. He showed me an example photo of someone with eyes similar to mine, so I thought this really could happen.
Then what the director recommended was a brow lift, but I wasn’t really drawn to it because of the scarring. We had come for a double-eyelid consultation, but he suddenly recommended something else, so we were flustered and paused for a moment. Then he said, “You’re done, right? Please talk about the rest outside,” and flipped the chart over... haha And throughout the consultation, his tone and attitude felt a bit like he was annoyed? lethargic? so I wondered if I had come for no reason when he should have been resting ㅠ
The consultant, though, was kind, but she pushed same-day booking too much, so that felt slightly burdensome..!
Still, I think they handled everything honestly overall, so I was generally satisfied! Even if I get another cosmetic surgery, I think I would stop by at least once!
