Before before after after I wanted to get ptosis correction while keeping my existing double eyelids, so I went around for consultations and had ptosis correction surgery~ Honestly, not just here but in other places too, people often say ptosis correction is a surgery you don't necessarily need, right? But if, like me, your pupils look very covered when seen from the front and you have that distinct sleepy-looking eye shape, I think it may be worth considering ptosis correction once
For reference, I had non-incisional ptosis correction, and as I wrote in the title, I hoped there would be no change to my existing double eyelid line At the clinic where I had my consultation, the director first checked which muscles I use when opening and closing my eyes, then assessed whether non-incisional or incisional surgery would be suitable. Since I wasn't doing double eyelid surgery together, they said non-incisional would be enough and that the ptosis correction would be performed from the conjunctival area
And above all, they said that if I got non-incisional ptosis correction, my eye shape could be corrected naturally without overcorrection, and that it was exactly appropriate for eyes like mine with thin skin and little fat! Since it was my first cosmetic surgery, I was worried about swelling and pain too, but the director said that because it would be done non-incisionally, I probably wouldn't have much swelling, and my recovery was fast enough that even my friends around me acknowledged it haha
After ptosis correction, opening and closing my eyes has become much more comfortable, so I'm satisfied. Before, I often heard that I looked tired when I wasn't wearing makeup or contacts, but these days I'm actually becoming more confident barefaced.. haha Still, getting dressed up is even more fun now, so I do my makeup every day lol I hope everyone finds the surgical method that suits their own eyes and has successful cosmetic surgery
