My wisdom tooth grew in while lying sideways, and it caused my teeth to tip forward. I also had a slight protrusion, and my bite was off, so I decided to get orthodontic treatment. I started non-extraction orthodontics, and for about three days it hurt so much I could not even eat properly. After placing screws and pulling my front teeth backward, the protrusion improved to some extent. Right now everything is finished, and I am living with retainers. Conclusion - It was a lot of trouble, but I think I got a good result.
