Last spring, I had osteotomy surgery without putting in any implant. For about two or three months, I really lived with a bulbous-looking nose Even after that, I was so upset because my nose had changed to look more masculine. I really wished I could turn back time.. Now it’s been a little over 10 months, and only recently, when I look in the mirror, my nose finally looks natural. It feels like all the swelling has gone down and it has settled into place. I didn’t know it would take this long, but that bulbous-nose feeling is definitely gone It may differ depending on each person’s constitution, but after surgery, the nose seems to keep changing until it settles. For reference, I’m in my mid-30s, so wounds take some time to heal... hahaha
