Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

The End Review

The hospital staff were kind.

The director listed the surgical methods one after another like rapping and spent more than 40 minutes on the consultation, but I had said from the beginning that I wanted to use only ear cartilage + the fascia behind the ear, without the septum or silicone, and that I came here because this clinic matched the surgical method I wanted. Even though I said that, they kept rapping on for a long time only about the problems with the septum and costal cartilage.. In the end, I barely heard the personal information I actually needed, like the surgical method and effects that would suit me, and how aftercare would be handled. I let them keep talking without interrupting because it seemed like a lot to keep saying in that rap-like way and I didn’t want to cut them off, but even after I explained the method I wanted in the middle, they just kept going and didn’t give the information that was actually important for me.. ㅎ If they listened first to what information the patient needs and then tailored the consultation accordingly, it would be better for their stamina and better for the patient too, I think. For people who don’t know much about nose surgery, it seems like a good place to get the basic information at first. I had visited many hospitals, studied, and already knew a certain amount about the surgical methods, and even though I had decided the method I wanted before going, they only rapped about basic information, so I felt it was a huge waste of time. There was a 10,000 won consultation fee, and after the director’s rap ended, when I tried to ask about the information I wanted, I couldn’t because they were trying to finish quickly due to the next patient. Too bad.

+I was quoted revision surgery costs for crooked nose correction, foreign body removal (Hico), ear cartilage for the tip, ear-behind fascia for the bridge, and a subtle refinement, for a total of 4 procedures (this was my first nose surgery).

I searched a lot on Google to find information about the director, but there are only short-lived stints at several places, and on the plastic surgery apps there are only promotional posts written by coordinators using patient photos, so it’s hard to find real patient reviews. I’m quite concerned. I will look into other hospitals more for a similar no-implant surgery, and if I really can’t find anywhere I like, I may get surgery here, but it’s not a place I fully trust.
