I had buried double eyelid surgery in 2017. Since it was a place I chose based on a recommendation from someone I knew, I did not even make a list of questions before going to the consultation. The doctor said buried method would be good, that inner corner and outer corner canthoplasty were not needed, that I should not do them, and so on. He just gave a brief consultation, marked the line roughly with something like a pin, and did the surgery right away. The hospital facilities were clean and fine. Unusually, there was no pain at all during the surgery or recovery, and my swelling went down very quickly. It has been 3 years now, and both the advantage and the drawback is that it is extremely natural. It is so natural that nobody knows I had double eyelid surgery, and it looks like a natural double eyelid, but at the same time that means there is no dramatic effect. I don't think my eyes got that much bigger either. As time passes, the double eyelid line has become really thin, which makes it even more so. I do not recommend it for people who want their eyes to look much bigger and want a bold outer double eyelid line.
