I had surgery during winter break in my second year of high school, and back then natural-looking double eyelids were in trend, so I didn’t shop around much and had surgery there because I heard my friend’s surgery turned out naturally well. At that time, it was local anesthesia without sedation, and the anesthetic injection directly into my eye hurt so much that I honestly don’t remember anything, but I only remember the smell of burning squid. During the consultation, they didn’t make unnecessary recommendations, and when I look at people who had surgery there, the lines all seem pretty similar. I had incisional surgery, and before even 2 years had passed, one side loosened, so I had revision surgery. Because of the uneven lines and the scar from the line before the revision surgery, I somehow covered it with eyelash extensions and lived that way, but after 8 years I’m now looking into revision surgery again
