I had surgery during winter vacation in my second year of high school, and back then natural-looking double eyelids were in trend, so I didn’t shop around for consultations and just got surgery because I heard my friend’s surgery had turned out naturally well. At that time it was local anesthesia without sedation, and the anesthesia injection directly into the eye area hurt so much that I don’t remember anything, but I only remember the smell of burning squid. During the consultation, they didn’t recommend anything unnecessary, and looking at people who had surgery there, the lines all seem pretty similar. I had incisional surgery, and before 2 years had passed, one side came undone, so I had revision surgery. Because the lines were uneven and there was scarring from the line before revision surgery, I somehow hid it with eyelash extensions and lived like that, but after 8 years I’m now looking into revision surgery
