For my first rhinoplasty, I had 4-5 mm silicone inserted. It did make my previously flat-looking face come alive, and because it felt like the center was defined, my facial contours also looked more defined and overall it got a lot better, but the functional aspects got worse. My rhinitis got worse and my deviated septum also became worse, so later, around the time it had been over a year, one side of my nose became crooked and my nostrils became uneven. But seeing friends around me who have had rhinoplasty revisions anywhere from 1 to over 10 times, it feels like there is no end with the nose, so even if it can’t be perfected in one go, if it seems somewhat okay, maybe it’s right not to have surgery again.. I don’t think there’s a right answer when it comes to the nose.
