After living with monolids for 40 years, I finally had eye correction surgery, buried double eyelid surgery, and epicanthoplasty because of drooping eyelids~ I did it under local anesthesia... I felt like I was dying and came back to life~ I think double eyelid surgery should definitely be done under sedation I was crying nonstop during the surgery, and it hurt and was so hard even though I had anesthesia... Thanks to that, today is only post-op day 2 and my eyes are completely dark purple and incredibly swollen~
