I just looked online, trusted it completely, and went. Thinking back now, I was probably like, what clinic even botches double eyelid surgery? Everyone does it these days ㅠㅠ I guess I was immature
At the place where I had it done, the doctor tried hard to ease my nerves, and the nurses were chatting back and forth with each other, telling one of those stories that anyone would find funny lololol I had local anesthesia, and I remember it being so hard to hold back my laughter because I could hear the story so clearly
It was an incisional in-out line, and they said that after opening it up, if they thought ptosis correction was necessary, we would do that too. At that time my eyelids had drooped a lot from using double eyelid tape and double eyelid glue...
But once they actually opened it, they said the right side did have a bit of that tendency, but seemed okay, so they didn’t do it. Later on, though, I could definitely see a difference in the double eyelid thickness
The left side is truly an in-out line, while the right side is an out line. It’s not obviously uneven, just a feeling only I notice lol Other people actually say it looks more natural this way
The anesthesia really hurt, and when they removed the eye fat, the smell of burning fat made it such an ordeal ㅠㅠ I was really scared. Even more so because I was a studentㅜㅠㅠ
But in conclusion, I’m satisfied! The surgery itself matters, of course, but when the stitches were removed, some of my friends or people around me said theirs hurt sometimes because the staff didn’t handle them well, but I had my stitches removed so peacefully that I was dozing off
