As a slight contracture developed at the nasal tip, my nose started to feel upturned. While removing the silicone and ear cartilage, the goal was for the nasal tip angle to come down more than it is now. During the consultation, they confidently said that removal alone would be enough to improve it, and that I did not need derotation (surgery to lower the nasal tip using ear cartilage), so I ruled out other hospitals that told me to do revision surgery and had surgery at Jeongseok, where the removal price was 1-2 million KRW or more higher. (The average removal cost at other hospitals was around 4-5.5 million KRW.) When I went for the 3-month follow-up and calmly said one thing, that the angle was the same (the frontal appearance improved a lot), they snapped, “If that was the case, why didn’t you get derotation instead of only removal?”???? They were the one who recommended that removal alone would be fine, but they seemed not to remember at all, and it wasn’t as if I had insisted on removal no matter what. Now they’re acting like they don’t know... as if I’m talking to a completely different person. They don’t seem to have any intention of taking responsibility for what they said. The kind attitude during the consultation was never seen after surgery.
