<Day 8 after getting the splint removed! I got a huge nose lolol sob><Day 8 side view><Day 8 side view><Day 8 side-view close-up><Day 8 side-view close-up>Before<This is a front photo before surgery! Even at a glance, it looked very upturned, right?ㅠㅠ The contracture had progressed more than I thought, but I was the only one who didn’t realize itㅠㅠㅠ>Before<Pre-surgery side-view close-up><This is the before-and-after front view at a glance! You might ask why my skin color is different, or where the mole under my eye went, but one was taken in the evening relying on lighting, and the other in the morning relying on sunlight, so the skin brightness is a bit differentㅠㅠㅎㅎ Also, my skin tans easily and becomes fair again easily, and looking at the forehead scar and the mole under my eye, the photo seems to be flipped left-right. Since you’re only looking at the nasal tip, I uploaded it without thinking, so I’m adding this note~^^><This is the before-and-after side view at a glance! The nasal tip was slightly depressed due to skin adhesion (contracture), but it recovered well! ><The two photos above are my nose before any surgery! Someone requested them by DM, so I’m uploading themㅎㅎ From the side, the nasal tip was very raised like a witch nose, and the nasal bridge was low compared with the nasal tip, so my impression looked sharp too.. That’s why I decided on nose surgery..ㅠㅠ The two photos below are after my first surgery! It was before contracture, so even though only a short silicone implant was used, I was very satisfiedㅎㅎ It’s a bit awkward to say this myself, but everyone said my overall image changed to something like... um... cute + sophisticated? and that it was done well, and I was very satisfied too!! If only the contracture hadn’t happened, I would have saved money and wouldn’t have gone through the hardship of revision surgeryㅠㅠㅠ Now I’m upset again for no reasonㅠㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ >It’s day 8 after surgery..! Time really feels like it’s not passingㅠㅠ Yesterday I got the splint removed, only the external stitches taken out, and went straight to work! Most people seemed to think I was just generally swollen and didn’t really know I had surgery..ㅎㅎ Maybe they’re not interested in me...ㅠㅠㅠ
Before surgery, the director said I might not be satisfied with the nasal tip depression, nose width, and crooked nasal bridge, but that he would do his best, so I had somewhat resigned myself + given up, but I’m very satisfied!!
The nasal bridge had been crooked for a long time because of the silicone, so the skin laxity couldn’t be helped. He said that after removing the silicone, the nasal bridge would sink lower than now, so of course it could look lower and bigger. That suddenly came to mind, so right before entering the operating room, I practically begged him to also operate on the nose width while I was asleepㅠㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ The director said we should decide later after watching the progress, but I insisted, and I think I made a good choice!! (There is an additional fee, of course!)
And fortunately, I don’t think much scarring will remain on the nostril-width side!^^
The internal stitches look a little like fishing line, so at a glance they look like boogers.. So I either cover only the nostrils well with a mask so they don’t show, or put ointment on a cotton swab and use it like an adhesive so it sticks well to the inner wall of the nose before walking around!
The rib area hurts when I breathe, hurts when I cough, and when I gag while brushing my teeth, I really wonder if my ribs are going to burst. When I lie down or get up by myself, I wonder if all my ribs are going to shatter like this.. It even hurts when I fartㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It just hurts al~~l the timeㅠㅠㅠ It comes with throbbing tooㅋㅋㅋㅋ When I take painkillers, while the medicine is working, there’s only throbbing!
But in the end, after comparing the before-and-after photos, I still think it was good that I had the surgery!
Right now the swelling hasn’t gone down much, so it’s not totally Jesus!! level, but I think it’s because I can roughly see the shapeㅎㅎ The inside of the nostrils is very swollen, so the skin is hanging downㅠㅠㅠ
Honestly, while I had the splint on, I thought I was doing my best just by avoiding spicy and salty foods in a formal way, doing compresses, applying ointment, and things like that. But after removing the splint and seeing the swelling, I started being more careful with food, alternating cold and warm compresses, walking often, eating lots of foods good for swelling like pumpkin juice, and so on. A person changes overnightㅠㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I got greedy.. The hospital said it will come down more, so I have to wait for the swelling to go down, and my head is full of nothing but thoughts about reducing swellingㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Now next Friday, the 19th, all stitches will be removed! They said they’ll remove the stitches from the costal cartilage surgery site tooㅎㅎ Actually, I majored in skin care, so later I want to help in another way through before-and-after reviews about scar care for the surgical sites! I have somewhat keloid-prone skin and extremely oily skin, so I hope the scar care also goes well and becomes helpful!!ㅎㅎ (I’m generally planning to manage it with ointment and tape! It might accidentally become a review that sounds like an adㅠㅠㅠ)
By uploading how well I’m recovering like this, I hope everyone can also make good choices, whether it’s choosing a hospital, choosing cartilage or implants.. and also receive good energy so things go well for you~^^
See you again in a week!!
