The doctors for my eyes and nose were different, but for the nose surgery, they basically refined only the shape as naturally as possible. They said the shape I wanted would be difficult and explained a feasible surgical method. I also had silicone, cartilage, and nostril reduction, and especially when I said I wanted a lot of my nostrils reduced, they said no, and told me to preserve as much as possible and make it as natural as possible, even if it meant cutting more later. They left me with the memorable saying that cutting more is possible, but what has been cut off cannot be attached back.
