Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Review after visiting two nose surgery clinics

1. ㅇㅂㅅ (consultation fee 10,000 won) My friend said they had gone here and even scheduled a date for their primary rhinoplasty, so I made a consultation appointment. It was my first surgery too, and after taking photos and a CT scan, I first consulted with the manager. I have a large nose with a high bridge + long nose, so I said I didn’t want silicone inserted, and they said the septal cartilage and ear cartilage would be enough, suggesting that only the nasal tip be raised. They said it would feel less like a dramatic change and more like my impression would look refined. Then, when explaining the cost, they said bulbous nose, deviated nose, hump nose, and all sorts of things would be included, and quoted me a pretty high price. I felt a bit of pressure to book, and I was a little taken aback when they pointed out things I hadn’t even thought about during the consultation. I ruled it out without hesitation.

2. ㅌㅇㅅ (no consultation fee) I tried to schedule this on the same clinic-hopping day as the hospital above, but all the hospitals I was curious about were closed that day, so I booked here. As soon as I entered the hospital lobby, the atmosphere made me go, “huh?” but the consultation itself was better here. After taking some 3D something CT scan, as soon as the consultation started I said I wasn’t considering silicone, and they seemed puzzled and said my nose absolutely needed it, which was the first shock. During the director’s consultation, I said my nose was on the larger side, so I wanted to raise only the tip while making it look slimmer, and they said that without silicone, it would look like I hadn’t had surgery at all. Since this was completely different from what the previous hospital said, that was the second shock. I liked that they spoke honestly about each point, and if I had to choose between the two hospitals, it would be this one. But I’m not sure whether it’s enough for me to decide on surgery. I do recommend going for a consultation once.
