This is my review at exactly one month.
I had consultations at 4 places, booked right away at the fourth one, had surgery on 2/23, and today I went in for warm compresses and eye-opening practice (I’ve been visiting every week after surgery).
All three other places recommended surgery on both eyes, but I chose this place because they said doing just one eye would be enough. (Incision and ptosis correction only, no canthoplasty)
The eye that wasn’t operated on was originally a monolid, but when I was young I got a wound, the scar changed, and a double eyelid formed. That eye was originally bigger than the other one, and the double eyelid also formed quite large,
so they said even if I operated on the other eye, the sizes couldn’t become exactly the same.
So when I just look in the mirror, because of the swelling, the operated eye looks much bigger,
but when I take photos, strangely, the operated side looks smaller.
I like the line, it’s convenient because my makeup method (how I draw the line) is now the same, and overall I’m satisfied, but the swelling is going down more slowly than I expected.
It feels like it has stayed the same since day 10 ㅜㅜ It still doesn’t feel like my own eye, and if this is as fully open as the operated eye gets, that’s a problemㅜㅜ My entire iris doesn’t show, so it looks kind of vacantㅜㅜ
I keep thinking time will fix this, but I’m getting impatient haha
Since I only did one side, the difference between the two eyes will keep showing until all the swelling is gone, so it bothers me.
I’m curious how everyone was at the one-month mark. Also around when the eye fully opens properly.
