Booked the first time slot on the weekend and went. Waited about 5 minutes after going into the consultation room, and then the manager came in and the consultation started. Honestly, there were places where the manager’s consultation was more professional, so the consultation professionalism wasn’t outstanding, but she had this cool, easygoing older-sister vibe that I liked. She kept telling me about her acquaintances who had surgery here, so I think that kind of human side drew me in (sorry, I’m an F).
The director came in and we looked at the CT together while talking. He spoke softly, which I also liked. The kind of person who, if they weren’t a doctor but a university professor, would probably still get a 4.5 out of 5 in student lecture evaluations? A director who speaks strongly while emphasizing professionalism.. A director who is busy and quickly brushes through things to take the next patient.. A director who only spends 30 seconds looking at my CT and says a few words.. I’ve seen all kinds of people, so the atmosphere being very comfortable and light, but not too heavy or awkward, was good. He explained things in detail and told me to keep asking anything I was curious about. It didn’t feel like he was trying to rush the patient out, and it also didn’t feel like he was trying to sweet-talk me into making a same-day reservation ㅋ I had already decided on the date and time I wanted for the surgery, so I really did want to do it then. So I felt like I could entrust myself to him. In the end, I was the one who basically led it into a same-day reservation, so it was a bit rushed, but I don’t really regret it...
The manager kept saying, "The director is really kind and gentle, he does great surgery, and I’ll take good care of you," over and over, and the director also seemed to stay for about 15-20 minutes. Contour surgery.. it’s a bone-shaving operation, but from the very first minute of consulting with the director I’ve experienced everything; The director used to work at dㅣaㅔi too.. This hospital itself isn’t that old, but.. what can you do? In the end I made a same-day reservation and left a 300,000 won deposit.
But why do the hospitals in Gangnam all have the same regular price of 4.4 million for one type of contouring? Regular price 4.4 million 275 if you write a partially disclosed review + 500,000 anesthesia fee + 100,000 blood test fee = 3.35 million won, but if you reserve on the same day, they waive the blood test fee, = 3.25 million
But if you cancel the deposit, after deductions and everything it gets complicated, and no matter how much they take, it’s at most 180,000 won. I saw reviews saying they pressure you to book on the same day a bit, but I was the one who led it to a same-day reservation, so I can’t really say anything... That’s the end of my self-paid consultation review...
