I went for a consultation for eye and nose surgery. The eyes were a revision surgery, and because I had had double jaw surgery, I was told that the septum couldn’t be used for the nose. No other hospital had said that before, but this was the first place I heard it, and after looking into it more at other places, I found that it was true that the septum couldn’t be used. In that sense, they seemed professional, but when they said to use donated costal cartilage, I felt a bit uneasy and canceled the deposit I had paid. The price was also 2 to 3 times higher than other hospitals. The doctors were fine, but the staff and the consultation manager there didn’t handle things well. They handled the deposit refund incorrectly, and I asked for 3 months interest-free payment, but later when I checked, they had charged it as a lump sum. Seeing that the staff couldn’t properly handle even these payment procedures made me doubt whether they would handle complications or post-op care properly, and it also lowered my trust in the hospital.
