I had arm liposuction and thread lifting 4 years ago. The consultant was kind, and maybe because my close older sister had gotten square jaw surgery here, they treated me well. The standard for treating me well was just basic kindness, though. But when they said thread lifting had no swelling, I had it done the day before a holiday, and maybe because they were busy, I didn’t go into surgery until 3 hours later. I woke up during the surgery, and they didn’t put me back under; they just kept going while I was awake. I said it hurt, but the director rudely said it would be over soon, so stay still, and then 20-30 minutes passed like that. I still think about it, and I can’t do local anesthesia anymore. My arm still has a scar... they did laser scar treatment 3 times, but the scar is still there, and anyone can clearly see the holes on both sides. The consultant of course never answered my messages, and the hospital said they would contact me but never did, and I still wear long sleeves in summer.
