After discharge, I had to stop by the pharmacy and pick up medicine. The medication cost was insanely expensive. (50,000 won) I was waiting for the medicine, and next to me, a young woman who had double eyelid surgery was being told by the pharmacy staff to also buy swelling-reducing medicine... They were selling 20 packets of herbal medicine for 70,000 won... After that, people kept buying the 70,000 won herbal medicine one after another... I didn't buy it.
I came home. I tried drinking a sip of water. My mouth didn't open well, but I didn't really register it.
The most uncomfortable thing after discharge is definitely the compression band. But discomfort or whatever, I was so sleepy.
They said not to sleep for about 6 hours, so I roughly held out, then stacked pillows on the bed, set it so my head was higher than my heart, lay down, and fell asleep.
I slept like that. Until the next morning.
Actually, I tend to have insomnia, and for the past 20 years or so I've lived sleeping on my side, so I was worried, Can I sleep on my back, looking at the ceiling, in a straight position? But maybe because of the aftereffects of surgery?? The moment I lay down, it was lights out.
On the day of surgery, there was no pain at all. Only discomfort existed. Feeling like wearing steel, extremely tight underwear? That's roughly how I'd explain it.
