Still, he did seem very confident about closed rhinoplasty. Instead of a drawing, the design was predicted virtually using a customized silicone rhinoplasty program. But the manager seemed to be assuming osteotomy and costal cartilage as the default. Fortunately, the director said it looked like it could be done closed using only 4 mm silicone + ear cartilage (one side) + the septum. Still, I felt a bit disappointed that they could have explained the differences between open and closed surgery in more detail, because the way they said, “We’ll do it closed,” felt a little lacking. Maybe they said it that way because they were that confident...
The surgery time was about 1.5 hours for the closed procedure. They said they wouldn’t leave in the middle of surgery. The consultation took 20 minutes total with the director and manager combined. Consultation fee was 10,000 won. When I asked, they said they had CCTV.
