The doctor’s credentials are flashy and impressive, but they were scary.. I went in already knowing that people said they were a bit cynical, and while I was getting the consultation it felt like attending a lecture? They showed all sorts of good cases to brag about their own work, and they seemed extremely confident. They even said they were checking whether I was paying attention by giving quiz-like questions in between.... Their confidence in the surgery itself and aftercare is outstanding, and I like the line I can see in the results, but they said they’d extend the septum, which made me a bit uncomfortable. They said they would use septal cartilage and cover the end with ear cartilage. And I didn’t really want osteotomy either, but they said osteotomy was necessary, so I don’t think I’d do it here. Also, it was the most expensive.
