Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

Bye Jun review

I had my first nose surgery here last November. A few years ago, I went through a lot emotionally because of eye surgery at another hospital, so I spent several years carefully thinking about nose surgery. I wanted to end it in one try even if it cost more, so I went around for consultations mainly at well-known hospitals, hospitals specializing in revision surgery, and one-doctor specialist clinics. Because I have a low, short nose, upturned nose, and my natural nose conditions weren't great to begin with, I only went to hospitals with a reputation for being especially good! I had narrowed down a few places and finally decided on this hospital. This place doesn't advertise. There are really hardly any reviews. It felt like only people who knew about it through word of mouth would go there. I found out about it because an acquaintance introduced it to me. 1. Surgical result I wanted a natural style that wouldn't stand out, so I focused on that. The line is natural. The columella scar is neat and invisible. The more time passes, the more I notice it. 2. Director's style As with any hospital, I felt this one also has the director's own style. But if the patient clearly expresses the style they want, they do take it into consideration. (This was almost the main reason I moved to this place. Among famous surgeons, there are a lot of directors with a very lone-wolf style... but the patient has to live with that nose.) Another thing: at the beginning I had a lot of swelling and recovery was a little slow, but each time the director kindly told me to wait and that he would make it the way I wanted. I'm deeply grateful for that. Thanks to that, the result was goodㅠㅠ) 3. Consultation expertise, staff friendliness, and hospital facilities The consultation includes taking photos and doing Photoshop on the side view. All the staff are kind. The hospital facilities go without saying. Like other places, this is by appointment only, but the waiting time was less than 5 minutes, and it's not the kind of system where you wait crowded together with other patients. Both the treatment room and operating room are really clean and tidy. The facilities are honestly top tier.

The downsides of this hospital. It is extremely hard to find reviews. They say in plastic surgery circles that if things go well, the place disappears without a trace... and even if I search on Google, reviews really don't come up for this hospitalㅋㅋ So that might be one reason it isn't easy to decide on surgery. And the price is a bit higher than other hospitals. Maybe because there are a lot of cheaper, high-volume places these days, it feels a little more expensive. Other than those two points, I'm satisfied.

Of course, there is no guarantee my nose will stay exactly the same even after 10 or 20 years. But after a long period of worry, I'm satisfied that my first nose surgery turned out well. peace!
