The director is humane and kind, and many people say his skill is impressive. I made a consultation appointment and met the manager and the director, and both were very kind. In particular, the director's long surgical career (26 years) and credentials (Seoul National University bachelor's and doctoral degrees) were trustworthy, and the fact that the managers had also received procedures/surgeries from the director (the managers showed before-and-after photos) was one of the reasons I decided on surgery.. It seemed like a hospital where even the staff trust the work. The hospital facilities were very clean and quiet, and I liked that it didn't feel like a large hospital at all. The price is almost as expensive as ㅌㄹㄷ, but if you agree to provide before-and-after photos for use in marketing and other purposes, they give a pretty big discount.
Among the hospitals I consulted for costal cartilage surgery, this was the only place where donor costal cartilage surgery was more expensive than autologous costal cartilage surgery. They said they use an entire bag of donated rib cartilage and discard whatever is left immediately after use (usually, with donated rib cartilage, the unused portion is stored and later used for another patient).
Because this was a re-revision nose surgery, they recommended autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, and performed columella and nasolabial angle surgery with ear cartilage. Silicone was used for the bridge.
The silicone itself is imported through a separate contract the director has with a supplier (they said it is more stable and much more expensive), and depending on the patient's nasal shape, the director personally processes the silicone shape using 3D CAD so it fits perfectly.
After surgery, the manager was extremely kind in handling aftercare and answering questions. The director also kindly followed up with postoperative care. It was a very small, short nose with no columella and very visible nostrils, so it was a difficult nose to operate on, but I am very satisfied now, and I hope the director does not quit and continues operating for a long time.
