Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Review of Bae Jun

It was an unpleasant consultation. Before visiting, I had thought this hospital felt good and wanted to definitely get surgery here. First of all, the consultation manager was kind and a good person. But the director suddenly wrapped up the consultation with me and left, so I thought, what was that about? I later found out through the manager that the director had been upset because I mentioned another hospital...?? I had said something like, "At another hospital they talked about this kind of surgery method, is it different from that? There’s also a place that says you can have surgery without dissolving the filler, so is that necessary?" That was the extent of it. It wasn’t a tone of putting them down or doubting them; I really just asked because I didn’t know, like a student. Was that question enough to make him upset? Then the director cut me off and said, then go get surgery at that hospital. He said the other hospital’s surgical method was something he had done 20 years ago. Isn’t it natural for patients to visit several hospitals and compare? Patients understand the surgery methods and choose the place they trust most. Then what are you supposed to do at a consultation, praise the doctor and leave? I was also displeased that he said the cat surgery had to be done without any detailed explanation. I understand that a doctor’s pride matters, but I value service mindset and character more, because those are also related to how things are handled if problems arise later. I came away feeling completely the opposite of how I felt before visiting. If anything, I’m glad it got filtered out.
