When I was looking for a hospital to have surgery, I relied on information and word of mouth from doctor acquaintances, seniors, classmates, people around me who had surgery, and hairstylists who work exclusively with celebrities, so I actually didn’t even know that there were cosmetic surgery communities like this one. I learned about it after my surgery, and I was told that this place has the biggest influence, so... I wanted people considering surgery to be able to have their procedures safely at a good hospital, so I signed up, got promoted through the levels, and ended up writing a review here..ㅎㅎ I’m writing this on the way back after bringing bread to the doctor and reporting my final follow-up! (I verified my payment receipt.)
Before I had surgery at ByJun, my nose was a total mess. Naturally small and short nose / feminine (slight upturned) line / alar retraction = made it look like a snub nose / crooked I was born with it like this, but the problem was that I had already had one surgery at another hospital.. My first surgery at that other clinic didn’t improve my nose at all.ㅠ
A man’s nose is the center of the face.. but if that center can’t do its job, the appearance just doesn’t come togetherㅠㅠ Therefore, I had wanted revision nose surgery for a long timeㅜㅜ
Before having surgery at ByJun, I had already visited quite a few clinics besides ByJun (all well-known places...), and the reason I stuck with ByJun over the others was this. As I mentioned above, I was a person with a nose that had extremely poor natural conditions, so when I decided on revision surgery I had expectations and hope that I would be transformed into a handsome nose. But at most of the clinics other than ByJun, the doctors all said it was a difficult nose and that improvement would be hard.. They said I had to give up on aestheticsㅠ Also, compared with ByJun, the other clinics only examined my nose in a very localized way, so after visiting all the clinics I had planned to visit, what I strongly felt was that if I had surgery at a place other than ByJun, I might end up with a nose that looked pretty on its own but didn’t suit my overall mood, face size, or face shape.
By contrast, Dr. Kim Junseong at ByJun focused on the parts of my nose that could be improved and explained in a way I could understand intuitively using Photoshop how they could be solved. He looked at my entire face, not just my nose, and considered proportions and overall impression. Also, ByJun follows the principle of keeping both consultation patients and surgery patients to a small select number, and because appointments are spaced out, unlike many other plastic surgery clinics that have that crowded market atmosphere, it was very quiet and there were few people. The appointment also wasn’t delayed. Because of that, neither the doctor nor the staff were rushed during the consultation, so I could ask enough about the things I was curious about, and I felt communication would also go well after surgery. :)
I’m now at the point where I’ve completed my 6-month follow-up, and the doctor has told me that I don’t need to come in anymore, but I’m very surprised by the result beyond my expectations! I got a straight, masculine nose that suits my face and goes beyond the limits of a small nose, my nostrils are also less visible, and thanks to the way my previously crooked nose was designed to not look crooked, I find myself admiring it every time I look in the mirror! (When I’m in a bad mood, looking in the mirror has become a habit these days..ㅋㅋ I suddenly feel better when I look in the mirror ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ)
It was clearly said that because my facial axis was crooked, other hospitals said they couldn’t improve it, but Dr. Kim Junseong designed it so that it matches my naturally inherited facial axis while not looking crooked from the front~ On top of that, he made my columella, which is his trademark, elegantly with his own technique, so even though my nose was raised a lot and the tip was brought down, it doesn’t look like I had surgery. In other words, even though it was greatly improved, it looks like a natural nose... wow. My nose has now been reborn as a perfect nose. My image has changed to look much more luxurious and masculine! Thanks to the doctor designing the center of my face, my appearance can stand out, and in the end it became a choice I have no regrets about :)
Nose surgery is really difficult and tricky, so many people end up having multiple operations, but I hope everyone just gets surgery at ByJun and lives their lives while keeping a pretty nose forever! Unlike other clinics that mass-produce one standard line like a factory, Dr. Kim Junseong diagnoses and operates while considering each patient’s facial proportions and atmosphere, while also respecting the patient’s needs (and because of that, he absolutely does not recommend unnecessary procedures), so I hope everyone at least gets a consultation~
A side note: not only the doctor, but also the head manager, coordinators, and nurses at ByJun Plastic Surgery were all kind, so (they sometimes even joked around with me, which was so funny ㅋㅋㅋ) every time I visited, it felt less like going to a hospital and more like going to a comfortable homeㅎㅎ
Doctor!!!! Please don’t think about retiring, and please stay active in the field for a long timeㅠㅠ
