I had a consultation for using ear cartilage on the nose tip and silicone for the bridge. For the nose shape, they said they would make a cast and prepare silicone bridges in various mm sizes to match the right shape, and since it was to be done under local anesthesia, they would insert the silicone bridge, cover it, inject medication to temporarily reduce swelling, and during the operation I could wake up and check the status, and if I didn’t like it, the implant could be adjusted.
