I went for a consultation about revision nose surgery~ I waited longer than the consultation appointment time before being seen. The director’s consultation was kind, and they answered my questions well. However, from the perspective of a revision patient, non-incisional surgery was a bit concerning.. It might be fine for a first surgery, but I was worried about accurate fixation and visibility... Revision patients know how much we don’t want to go through surgery again... I already have a scar on my columella, so I wondered whether a non-incisional method really made sense now.. I also need to remove foreign material from inside my nose.. The manager has a bad personality. When I said I wouldn’t have the surgery, they suddenly changed and ignored my texts and calls... It’s a hospital many people go to by referral, but shouldn’t they still do their job properly until the end, whether the patient proceeds with surgery or not? For them I may be just one of many patients, but for me this is a very important choice and decision. It’s my face...
