First of all, I am a man, and I had double eyelid surgery at ㅁㅅㄹㅇ about 3 years ago.
I had consultations at 4 places, and except for the place where I ended up doing it, all of them recommended ptosis correction. But since my irises are on the slightly smaller side, I thought if the vertical length became too long, the overall feel would be odd, so I just did double eyelid surgery. I think it was an excellent choice.
Those who have had a consultation at ㅁㅅㄹㅇ, where I had surgery, will know this... maybe because the director is quite confident, somehow he feels trustworthy. But the price is much more expensive than other places... hing
In my case, my eyes have a bit more blank space toward the outer side compared with the inner side, my epicanthal folds are not severe, and the length is not short, so I did not do medial epicanthoplasty. If I had done medial epicanthoplasty... it would have looked slightly close-set like Shin Dong-yup, so I think it would have been really bad.
There is one thing that is a little disappointing. Toward the outer corner of the eye, the double eyelid line seems a bit short, so the look I wanted did not come out fully, which was a bit disappointing.
But since it was still successful, reactions around me changed a lot, and even the girls who told me not to do it because I looked decent before also said it turned out really well.
In my opinion, after seeing many before-and-after cases, people with longer horizontal eye length seem to have a higher success rate.
