I did have double eyelids, but they were so thin that they looked almost like inner double eyelids, so I eventually had double eyelid surgery. I wanted to make the line more defined, but an overly glamorous outer line felt too much, and I thought a natural look was the prettiest. So I mainly searched for places with many reviews of in-out or semi-out lines. There are many hospitals known for eye surgery, and I did not know where to go, so I visited quite a few for consultations. I went from private clinics to large hospitals, and the way they designed the line differed subtly from place to place. The director specializes in eyes and, rather than recommending various things, only suggested natural-adhesion surgery and non-incisional ptosis correction, which I liked. The clinic interior is a little small, but it operates by floor, so it was better than I expected lol. I am now three weeks post-op and satisfied because recovery has been faster than expected. Perhaps because it was done without an incision, most of the bruising has faded. Until last week, there was still quite a bit of bruising around my eyes, but now it is barely visible! I am wearing makeup again, and before, even when I did eye makeup, it felt like it was hidden by my double eyelids. Now that I have a line, my eye makeup shows much better, so I feel like putting on makeup for no particular reason ><. Before visiting consultations, I thought the line design would be similar everywhere, but after visiting several places, the difference was quite significant. If you are considering surgery, I recommend visiting several places for consultations even if it is a hassle! There were also many people coming in for petite procedures when I visited the clinic, so I had forehead filler and Rejuran Healer at the same time. I am satisfied with these too, and doing them together with surgery was convenient because I did not have to make a separate visit.
