I debated whether to write a review, but I had searched this community extensively and deliberated a lot, so I’m writing this in case it helps everyone. Just use it as a reference. Arm liposuction + accessory breast + armpit + scapular-area liposuction; total aspirated volume: 2,800 cc. I’m still satisfied overall. Week 1: pain yes, swelling yes, but less painful than expected. I was scared because people said liposuction hurts a lot, but it wasn’t too bad. The compression garment was uncomfortable that evening, so I groaned and slept sitting up. That was only after the anesthesia wore off on day one; afterward I was fine. There was swelling and tightness, of course. Week 2: many say liposuction pain varies from person to person. It felt like severe muscle soreness plus swelling. I was a little worried because the swelling didn’t seem to go down, but after swelling laser treatment it felt like it dropped quickly. Moving around a little is more comfortable than lying still. Drinking lots of water seems to help elimination and recovery, and I ate rice and seaweed soup. Week 3: my size has definitely decreased a lot. I’m curious how much thinner it will look after the residual swelling goes down. The scars seem unlikely to be noticeable; they’re small, and they said they would provide Fraxel aftercare, but I probably won’t need it. The Bio Bond was hard at first but seems to be loosening little by little. I still have radiofrequency and Endermologie aftercare. Overall, I had liposuction only on areas with slight excess fat that bothered me, and I’m more satisfied than expected. I had tried injections and diet injections before, but nothing compares to liposuction. I chose it because with Mounjaro and Wegovy, the weight loss was similar, but diet drugs make you lose weight in an unattractive way—the places you don’t want to lose from go first. If I stop, I regain weight and get intense cravings. I also heard that because liposuction removes fat cells, less fat accumulates later in the operated areas, and shaping the areas I want can make the body look better. That seems like a major advantage.
