After a forehead lift consultation, I made a reservation, and on the day of surgery I went in for the surgery I had changed completely into surgical clothes, but they tried to take photos without a consent form. When I said I would not take them, they said that under the Medical Service Act, photos absolutely had to be taken. I looked it up on Blind and apparently that is not true?! So I said that since it was a forehead lift anyway, I would take the photos wearing a mask with the upper part showing, and that I would accept any effect on the surgical result caused by the lower part not appearing in the photos. I covered from the middle of my nose downward with the mask and took the photos But after that, they made me wait in the waiting room in surgical clothes for about 20 minutes, then came late and had me write the surgical consent form. In it, the consultation manager said she would read from something she had written on a Post-it and told me to write exactly what she dictated At first she did not even show me the Post-it, so after some back-and-forth saying I needed to see the contents first, I looked at it, and the content was, 'Because I did not take photos, I will not raise any objection whatsoever about the surgical result' No, this is not even a small surgery, and I am getting a forehead lift. It means I would not be able to say anything even if the doctor did the surgery however they wanted. Does that make sense? So I said I could not write it like that, and that I would write only that I would accept the disadvantage from having covered the lower part in the photos as I said earlier. Then she said she would go talk to the director and left Then she came back and said they could not perform the surgery. She said they would refund the surgery reservation fee too. So I also said I would not do it and left The surgery fee was canceled on my card, and for the reservation fee I wrote the deposit account on another Post-it before leaving, but they said it would take 2 weeks for the reservation fee deposit^^ The surgery consultation and explanation from the doctor had been good, but the attitude on the day of surgery was like that (actually, I did not even see the doctor's face on the surgery day), and the manager was... even when I asked about medications or things I had to buy before surgery, she was perfunctory; her tone was kind, but I guess there was no substance.. Anyway, it had felt a bit strange and had been bothering me, but I also think it may be fortunate that I ended up not doing it
