I had surgery for a hump nose, and because I did not want silicone, I had the surgery using septal cartilage and ear cartilage. More than a year and a half after the surgery, the hump grew back and returned to how it was before, and the area where the cartilage was inserted sticks out in the shape of the cartilage, so depending on the light the nose looks bumpy ㅜㅜ Apparently, if you do not insert silicone and use only cartilage, the cartilage grows and this happens. I had not heard that before the surgery, so I was a bit surprised.. The doctor himself is kind.
