I injured my nose in an accident when I was young, and at the time I had surgery to shave down the nasal bone on the crooked side and raise the height of my nose with silicone. About 7 years later, contracture occurred, and after removing the silicone, I had surgery with autologous dermis. Now, even though it is not as high as it was with silicone, I feel relieved that the contracture has not come back anymore.
