Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

6-month review after nose implant removal!

Hello. It has been about 6 months since I had the silicone removed from my nose. Even these days, I still occasionally get messages or comments after people read my post, but I can’t reply to each one, so I’ll write a review instead.

First, as I wrote before, the place where I had it removed was a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong.

I already wrote before about the consultation, treatment, surgery, and aftercare, so I think you can read my previous post for that. Some people asked about the cost too, but the cost varies from person to person, so please go in person and get a consultation!

From 1 month to 2 months after removal, I guess I should say it felt throbbing? My nose felt like it was flaring and was hard, so I was worried, but when I asked on the clinic’s board, they kindly replied. They said that kind of sensation could last until around 2 months after surgery, and told me to come in for a checkup if I had time. But now I hardly have that feeling anymore! (I didn’t take any medication either)

My nose did get lower, and the shape had been strange and made me look older, so I think it was a relief that they removed it well.

Originally, I was looking into revision surgery, but there were many posts about side effects, so I ended up removing it. I didn’t have contracture or side effects, but I removed it because I felt anxious that I would have to replace it someday and that side effects could happen.

So far, I’ve been doing fine without any particular problems, and if you’re thinking about removal, I recommend going to many consultations!

The photos are at 2 months / now.
