Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Labom Community Review

Because my nostrils had gotten too small from multiple surgeriesㅠ I was searching for things like alar base reconstruction and a crooked nose, and then I got hooked by a photo of one patient, so I went for a consultation and ended up having surgery. But in the end, it’s a place I regret a bit. First of all, communication is terrible. I had it done with autologous costal cartilage and autologous dermis, and I told them that because every surgery so far had ended up tilted to the right, I’d already had correction surgery twice, so please just get rid of the deviation. But it turned out to be one of the worst cases of all, completely bent out of shape, so I rushed back for another correction in less than a month. As time went on, the columella depression and scar tissue kept building up, so I had AS again. After that, the part where the scar had been removed became indented as the flesh caved in, and my nose really just... it turned into something pathetic.. I should have gone somewhere else when it failed, but they made the nose ridiculously high so it looked like an avatar, the columella sank, and the tip drooped.. When I told them about the scar, they reduced my alar base without my consent too, and I really felt that communication was just impossible. Whether a patient matches a place or not is partly luck, but for me it was really bad. If I could turn back time, I would never go there.
