I had arm liposuction in a hurry 4 years ago.
It was a hospital in Apgujeong with one director (only two surgeries a day).
Before surgery, my arm circumference was nearly 42 cm;; I had enormous arms,
so I had the surgery just thinking it would be nice if my upper arms could look normal.
I had a lot of stretch marks on my arms, and I was already known for having very soft, tofu-like fat.
For arms and accessory breasts, I remember the pure fat removed was either 2400 or 2700 cc.
Honestly, after the surgery, when I saw myself wearing the compression garment,
I really thought, so this is why people spend money.
It felt like my arms had been cut in halfㅋㅋㅋ
I remember my arm circumference after surgery was 30-32 cm, and it is still that size now.
The good thing is that I can now wear most ready-made clothes.
Before, I couldn't wear jackets or blouses at all,
but now most things fit.
The bad thing is my skin elasticity.
The stretch marks look more noticeable, and the skin is wrinkly and unevenㅠㅠ
So I still can't wear short sleeves, but personally I'm satisfied that I can freely wear long sleeves and three-quarter sleeves.
A few other hospitals saw my arm surgery results (I went for thigh consultations and asked whether my arms could be improved further too),
and except for one hospital (they said it was because not all the fat had been removed and some was left behind, and that if I had revision surgery with them, they could remove it all), everyone said it was something that couldn't be helped.
I also don't think the result would have changed dramatically just because the surgical method was different, so I'm trying to accept it and live with it.
However, this time I'm looking into a different hospital for my thighs.
Actually, when I first went for a follow-up after surgery, my weight had increased by about 5 kg compared with before surgery.
Still, because my arm circumference had decreased by 10 cm, I personally went to see the director feeling very satisfied (despite the skin wrinkles),
but when he looked at the InBody test sheets from before and after surgery and saw the change in my weight,
he treated me in a chilling way, as if there was no need to even look at my arms anymore (because the patient had gained weight, the surgical result was automatically a failure without needing to check, and it felt like it was all my fault...), so I ended up looking for another hospital.
Personally, I think it is important to feel that they will try to figure out solutions together as much as possible and take responsibility for me until the end.
In that respect, I think it was a surgery that left me feeling disappointed.
