I had my first nose surgery. I was worried about a crooked nose and a simulated hump nose, and I visited the clinic through a recommendation. I trusted the surgeon because he was said to be so famous, without having any standards or common sense about plastic surgery. Looking back now, the mistake was that I did not ask more specific questions about the design, what the process would be like, or set my own criteria, and instead just went along with what the director recommended. My bridge became much thinner than I had expected after osteotomy, and the tip was lifted too. My nostrils used to be hard to see, but now they look too upturned. It has been almost a year since the surgery, and I still cannot get used to it, so I am thinking about revision surgery. Even if the director does not ask, during consultation you need to ask more specifically, set your design from the start, and go over the surgical method and plan carefully, or you may end up with results like mine.
