I went in for a consultation for revision nose surgery. The doctor’s blunt honesty was refreshing in one way, but he spoke so abruptly that I felt intimidated and could not ask my questions properly before the consultation ended. Before seeing the doctor, I met with the consultant, and while making a list of questions for the doctor, the consultant asked them on my behalf. Even though I had already prepared the questions in advance, the concerns I had were not resolved.
