I've had a total of five surgeries, and two of them were at Jeongwon. I hope this helps those who are curious about nose surgery at Jeongwon.
My first surgery at Jeongwon (my 4th overall) was immediately extremely successful, but because I had undergone so many surgeries in such a short time in an attempt to get back to a normal-looking nose, it did not last long due to scar tissue deformity. I was devastated by the deformity, but I had not a single grievance toward the director.
That makes sense, because the nose shape came out exactly the way I wanted, more than anyone else I knew how hard they worked to meet my wishes, and the director also readily acknowledged that the deformity had happened, mentioned proactively that even the parts I had not asked to be corrected should be addressed, and promised to make it pretty again, which I was so grateful for.
Because the fourth surgery had been done so well, I was able to go into the fifth revision without hesitation, and rather than the doctor's skill, I was more worried that my nose skin might deform again because of so many surgeries;
At every follow-up, I kept making very specific requests by area until the doctor probably bled from the ears, so they must have been completely sick of me.. They see so many patients that I feel like I'll be forgotten quickly, and using costal cartilage twice felt overwhelming, so I printed things out on paper each time and kept going back like a nuisance in order to make myself memorable to the doctor.
Compared with the nose after the third surgery, the nose after the fourth surgery had become deformed but was still within the range of a normal person's nose (although it was short), so maybe because I waited a year and had surgery, it is still fine so far. Even after the fourth surgery, it was the prettiest nose I'd ever had, but the one after the fifth surgery is even prettier♥ Even under the bad condition of a fifth surgery, getting the prettiest nose is amazing, doctor, you are truly the best!!ㅠㅠ
I still worry that it could become deformed again. At the one-month follow-up, I joked that if it deforms again, I'll come back to the doctor again...ㅋ and the doctor said okay^^ I said it jokingly, but if things go wrong again later, I will go back to this doctor. If you have a clear idea of the nose you want and ask for it, they will absolutely not produce a nose outside that range! I can be certain of that because I had surgery twice with Director Seo Man-gun (the doctor's hand is more trustworthy than even InoX).
The doctor is not the type to proactively suggest how to shape the nose, and seems to focus on correcting what is lacking, so there are many reviews saying the consultation feels cold, but I had a very clear idea of the nose I wanted, and it was not something unnatural (for example, not wanting IU's bone structure and Sejeong's nose), so I think I matched well with the doctor.
Since the surgery went well, I won't see them as much as possible unless a problem comes up haha Thank you so, so much, doctor♥
+ The costal cartilage is harvested by Director Kim Yeon-jun, and the pain disappeared much faster than when using costal cartilage at another hospital. Even though a different section of costal cartilage was used from the existing scar, the scar is smaller than expected. The scar that was originally 2 cm only grew by 3.5 cm, and they also did surgery to remove the existing scar. Thank you, Director Yeon-jun, for making the surgery painless!! There are so many things to be thankful for because the surgery turned out well.
And because I had to have so many surgeries, I became sensitive and got angry a lot at the hospital (but the hospital really is always crowded and busy ㅠㅠ) Thank you also to Director Jeongwon and the other staff who listened to me, comforted me, and went through the hard time with me..♥
