I went on a weekday at 9, which is fairly early, but there were still a lot of people. They weren't Chinese, but seemed to be from English-speaking countries... anyway, there were foreign visitors too.. Maybe because there were a lot of foreigners, they also had staff specifically in charge of foreign patients.
Interior and facilities: the entire building is a plastic surgery building. It had floors 1 through 7, and among all the clinics I have visited so far, it was the prettiest lol They seemed to have paid a lot of attention to the interior..
Location: you get off at Samseong Jungang Station or Seolleung Station and walk there.. Usually plastic surgery clinics are clustered together, but around here there weren't other plastic surgery clinics, and this one was standing alone lol There's a tasty ganjang gejang place nearby lol
Consultation order: when I arrived, the first thing was photography, manager consultation -> doctor consultation -> manager consultation
Waiting time: long waiting time! The original appointment was at 9, I had the manager consultation at 9:30, and the doctor consultation at 9:45..
Friendliness: I had a nose consultation with Director Seo Mangun, and he was very kind lol He explained things very carefully and repeated them several times so they were easy to understand..
Consultation fee: 10,000 won
Surgery methods: nose - ear cartilage + septal cartilage (sedation anesthesia) eyes - non-incisional
Estimate: nose (ear cartilage + septal cartilage) + alar lowering - 4.73 million won non-incisional ptosis correction - 1.3 million won under-eye fat repositioning - 1.5 million won
<Director Seo Mangun's nose consultation> First I had a nose consultation with Director Seo Mangun, who specializes in noses.
My hump nose is not that severe, so there were two surgical methods: either shave down just the hump a little, or not shave it down and fill it with ear cartilage and septal cartilage. If the hump is shaved down, the nose will naturally become lower than it is now, and since the hump is not that severe, he recommended the second method.
He also said that for men, having a slight hump is not necessarily bad.. and that there are many men who intentionally ask to keep a little hump.
Since it isn't being raised very much, only a little, not much material is needed, so rib cartilage isn't necessary.. He said he uses ear cartilage and, because my ear cartilage is insufficient, also septal cartilage, so those two materials are used.
If only the tip is operated on, the nostrils can look upturned and larger, so alar lowering should be done together. Um... but... this was the first time in all the clinics I've visited that anyone recommended alar lowering.. lol
At the end, the director said that I should do my eyes rather than my nose lol
Anesthesia is sedation anesthesia.
<Director Kim Yeonjun's eye consultation> About 15 minutes later, I had an eye consultation with Director Kim Yeonjun, who specializes in eyes.
He said that if I did lateral canthoplasty, my eyes would look even more close-set, and that I didn't need it.
He said eye correction and double eyelids would be done together, and that he would make the surgery so a subtle double eyelid would show by buried suture method.
I liked the line he made for me.
He said I didn't need under-eye fat grafting, only under-eye fat repositioning.. I thought under-eye fat repositioning lasts forever, but he said depending on the person, if the fat builds up again, it may need to be done again.. Still, he said it lasts about 5 years..
I said I wanted incision rather than buried sutures because I was worried the line might loosen, and he said incision was possible if I wanted, but since my eyelid skin is on the thinner side, it probably wouldn't loosen even with buried sutures..
<Back to manager consultation> The manager said I didn't really need nose surgery.. They said the priority order was 1st eyes, 2nd facial contouring, 3rd nose.. My nose is already pretty, so they said to do the eyes first rather than the nose.. They said that compared with the cost, facial contouring would give higher satisfaction than nose surgery.. They don't do contouring at Garden, but hearing them say that somehow made me trust them more ㅇㅇ
