I got lip filler twice at a place famous for lip filler, but they kept making me look like Doraemon^^... so I moved to Dress and settled there. The consultation at the first place I went to was very detailed and kind, but honestly Dress is completely factory-style... Instead, the price is cheaper, so I don’t think it matters for people like me who don’t need professional counseling about filler type or the shape they want.
But the way filler is injected differs by clinic, right?
At the clinic I went to before, they injected the filler by making a lot of injections into areas of the lips that weren’t too deep. The filler type wasn’t imported; I got the most expensive filler among domestic fillers, but I don’t know why, when the filler was wearing off, I had a lumping phenomenon on the inner side of my mouth.
When I got it at Dress, I was worried it would clump again, so I got Restylane Kysse. Before getting it, I asked whether I needed to dissolve the old filler first, and they said there was no need, so I just got it. They didn’t inject me a dozen-plus times like the previous clinic, and the doctor explained that they personally inject a little close to the muscle, and that doing so helps the filler settle prettily without shape distortion.
They shaped it well, it didn’t turn into Doraemon, there was no lumping, and I’m honestly satisfied with everything, so I will go againㅠㅠ But I don’t know why, after getting it, from the same day my lips start swelling little by little, and by the next day they swell so much and become so hard that I can’t go outside; It wasn’t like that before, so I wonder if Restylane doesn’t suit me. Both times they swelled, and this hard swelling lasts about 3 days, and it takes about a week before it becomes at least somewhat natural, so I’m wondering whether I should change the filler type next timeㅠㅠ
