I had surgery at another place before using silicone, but the implant shifted and the tip of my nose turned red, so I had revision surgery with Gore-Tex and a septal graft. The tip of my nose turned up like a pig nose, so the following year I had an additional surgery to lower the tip with ear cartilage. I didn’t like the shape, but thinking about how uncomfortable I had been because of the silicone, I decided to just forget about it and move on. Recently I went back because I developed a problem with my nose again, and there were a lot of foreign patients. Maybe because they were so busy, they looked at me rather roughly, which was disappointing.
