This is a review 4 years after a simple non-incisional double eyelid surgery. I thought eye surgery was something a lot of people get and that it was simple, especially because non-incisional surgery is just pinning, so I took it lightly and did it. But the swelling went down really, really slowly (I don't know if it was because of my constitution), and the line is also a little obvious, so ㅠㅠ my satisfaction is so-so...
Also, one side is an inline crease, but the other side became an outline crease by just about a 1 mm difference. It was surgery I did to fix asymmetry, but it became asymmetric again... + I don't like outline creases ㅠㅠ Right after the surgery, the right side looked like an outline, so I told the director I wanted to undo the non-incisional sutures. But the doctor said it would be fine once the swelling went down over time. However ㅠㅠ even now, 4 years later, it is still an outline crease. I think 1 mm really matters in double eyelid surgery.
Still, with makeup, it is not very noticeable, and I sometimes hear that my eyes look pretty with makeup, so it does not interfere with my social life.
At the time, I consulted with Director Song at DR, the then-trendy DJON Plastic Surgery, and JD, where I actually had the surgery. The consultants' eyes? also seemed naturally pretty, and when they consulted with me, they shaped the line really naturally and prettily, so I think I went into the surgery with almost complete confidence.
Even so, I think mine turned out too deep ㅠㅠ It is a simple surgery, but I think it is a surgery you really need to decide on carefully.
