Six years ago, I developed ptosis in just my left eye and had surgery, but it loosened after two years, so I endured it and then went for a consultation. From the outside, it apparently didn't look like my eye-opening strength was a problem, so they said ptosis surgery wasn't necessary. But my left eye still feels heavy when I open it. The line on the left is thicker and it's a double fold, so they said I could have both sides done to match the left eye, or only adjust the left side to match the right double eyelid surgery.
