I went for a consultation because the ptosis correction I had 6 years ago loosened up after 2 years. Back then, when I asked whether I would not end up with ptosis again only on the left eye even if I had revision surgery, they said it could happen, but that we could try once more, and they also gave me an estimate. Then, after my standard brow lift, only the left eye developed a double eyelid crease, and I went back for a consultation today. They said I do not have enough excess skin, so I should do skin massage for about 6 months to 1 year to increase the available skin. They had also said 2 years ago that I did not have enough excess skin. Since I now have a double crease and already had a brow lift, they seem reluctant to do any more surgery. They said my eyes might not close completely.
