Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Week 3 cheekbone surgery long~ review!

Day of surgery: Surgery at 12. Until I arrived at the hospital, I was happy thinking I’d become prettier and wasn’t worried at all. But once I actually lay down on the operating table, I was really, really scared.. My heart was beating so fast.. When I heard “the medication is going in~,” I fell asleep feeling extremely terrified.. I woke up from anesthesia at 4 p.m. The first thought I had as soon as I woke up was I’m screwed.. My throat hurt so much, but more than that, I was freezing and felt so nauseous that I kept dry heaving like crazy. It was honestly so hard that I’d rather have died. I kept dry heaving and crying until 5, then got discharged. As soon as I looked in the mirror, I was so shocked. Even my eyes were swollen and wouldn’t open, and I was so startled by a face I’d never seen in my life. When I went outside the hospital with the bandage + compression band on, everyone stared.. Seriously, everyone who lives in a city other than Seoul, just book a hotel or Airbnb even if it’s only for that day. You absolutely cannot take the bus.. Fortunately, I was staying at a friend’s place in Seoul, so I took a taxi, but even after getting in the taxi I was still out of itㅠㅠ The driver woke me up.. After arriving, I just kept sleeping.

Days 2-3: Sore throat, swelling at its peak, nosebleeds pouring out.. The hospital gave me medicine and told me to gargle, but every time I did it, an enormous amount of blood came out of my nose, so I was shocked. There was no cheekbone pain, but because of the swelling I felt suicidal. Bandage removed on day 3, taping removed on day 5.

Days 4-7: The swelling went down somewhat, but I still didn’t look human. I went to my parents’ house after a week. I lied to my mother and said I had my wisdom teeth removed, and she believed me, saying I was more swollen than she expected. It was hard to open my mouth, so I blended porridge and drank it.. On day 7, I had the sideburn stitches removed.

Days 8-14: The swelling went down a lot. For reference, Ellas? That thing famous for reducing swelling didn’t work for me, but after watching a YouTube video recommending medication for post-surgery swelling, I took Tripline, Venosin, and Bruna, and the swelling really went down fast. Everyone, take them. As the swelling went down, the problem was that the intraoral stitches started bothering me. They bothered me like crazy and started causing pain.. It felt like my teeth were being squeezed.. This got better after a few days. At week 2, I had the intraoral stitches removed. A lot of people said it hurt, but it didn’t hurt at all for me. They say if you gargle diligently, the stitches soften, so it doesn’t hurt when they’re removed. After they’re out, it feels so relievingㅠ But I started to see cheek hollowing..

Days 14-21: Currently, the swelling is almost all gone. Friends who don’t know I had surgery ask why I lost so much weight when they see me. The hollowing is gradually getting better. I guess it was swelling. There is swelling only around the temple area. I’m just eating whatever now.. Actually, from week two, I ate everything from gopchang to meat.. No problem eating or opening my mouth. I’m also brushing with an adult toothbrush..

I wanted to write in detail, but I thought it would get too longㅠ What I really want to say to those who are about to have surgery is:

1. Bus and subway are seriously too muchㅠ Definitely take a taxi, and if you’re too far to take a taxi, have a guardian accompany you or book accommodation nearby.. After waking up from anesthesia, it’s really hard to come to your senses..

2. Swelling differs from person to person. On the day of surgery, I swelled up like a monster, and until days 2-3 I looked like a fish, but after about a week, if I lied and said I had both wisdom teeth removed, the swelling was believable to some extent.. But when I saw other people, there were some whose swelling after about a week looked like my swelling on the day of surgery.. Make sure to take Tripline, Venosin, and Bruna. Don’t buy Ellas A. It’s seriously only expensive and has zero effect.

3. Walk a lot. Seriously, nothing reduces swelling as well as walking.

4. Don’t eat irritating foods until the stitches are out. I ate them and the stitch area became painful and numbㅠ

If you have any questions, please leave a comment. I’m satisfied with the effect, but the cheek hollowing hasn’t completely disappeared yetㅠㅠ The hospital said it’s swelling, so I’m waiting. I’ll share the hospital information when it’s been one month. For now, because of the hollowing, I can’t tell you too hastilyㅠㅠ
