I had a perfectly ordinary eye shape: I had double eyelids, but my eyes weren’t very large. I had always wished my eye length could be a bit longer horizontally, and since I was getting nose surgery, I thought it would be good to have the surgery together, so I decided after consulting with the doctor. The doctor said it was an eye that didn’t really need to be done, but I said I definitely wanted to do it. If I were to do it, he said a lower canthoplasty would probably be the best choice. Back then, I didn’t think the scar would last so long, and I wasn’t worried about scarring. Even after the surgery ended, my stuffy eyes seemed refreshed, and on top of that my double eyelids became more defined, which I liked, but after the stitches were removed, the red surgical marks lasted a long time. After that surgery... I realized that eye surgery just doesn’t suit me.
My eye shape definitely did become more open.
