I had a hump nose, a large and drooping columella, a hooked nose, and a parrot beak nose. When I was young, people only told me that my nose was high, but as I grew, the shape of my nose gradually changed, and after hearing people around me say it looked like a hump nose, I was under a lot of stress about my nose. Especially compared with my face, the nose occupied too much of the visual proportion, so it also gave a very masculine impression. I decided to have surgery, and I chose the hospital after consultations at just two places. I still regret not visiting more hospitals.
The surgical method was removing the hump, osteotomy, and using the septum to lift the tip of the nose. At first I was very satisfied, but as time went by, it felt like my nose was returning to its old shape. On the left bridge of the nose, bone even protruded like a small rock sticking out. Every time I took a photo or looked in the mirror, all I could see was the protruding nose. When I went back to the hospital, the director said it was a very rare case and that it needed reshaping and bone refinement, so I had a second surgery at the same hospital with the same director. For 2 to 3 months after the surgery I was very satisfied, but this time the nasal tip gradually dropped... I never dreamed I would have to have a second surgery, and for the result of that second surgery to end up this way too, I felt such huge disappointment that I wondered whether I should just not have nose surgery at all. It was embarrassing even to tell people I had had nose surgery twice. I could just live like this, but then I would think, did I really get nose surgery for this~~, and I started becoming more psychologically greedy.
Anyway, that is the end of my surgery review..
