The consultation managers here are seriously so pretty, and the people at the front desk were seriously so pretty too... I really saw someone and thought, did they have work done here? I had even planned to do it here..
But it was too expensive. I made a reservation for buried sutures as an event special for 440,000 won, but when I went in, the doctor said I should get incision + eye correction + upper canthoplasty. This was the first clinic I consulted with, so I didn’t know any better and just listened to the doctor, saying okay okay, and left (this part surprised me a little, but it seemed like they hadn’t even had lunch and couldn’t brush their teeth..)
Then I saw the consultation manager again, and she seriously looked like Irene. Her face was pale, her eyebrows too, her eyes were pretty, and her nose was high... I know I shouldn’t comment on other people’s faces, but because it was a plastic surgery clinic, I couldn’t help looking at faces. So after that, we started talking about the price. Manager: Since it’s incision, the price starts at 3.3 million won. Me: (speechless, shocked) 0ㅁ0 Manager: But since you came through an event, we can do it for 2.2 million. Me: Ah.. ah.. (basically like No-Face) Manager: How much were you expecting? Me: I applied for the event through ㅂㅂTalk, and it said 440,000 won, so I thought at most it would be plus 1 million, and I told my dad 1.5 million... Manager: Ah.. if we discount it, we can get it down to 2 million, on the condition that you post about us on ㅂㅂTalk :) Me: Ah! Of course I can do that, but... still, I can’t tell my dad. I can’t tell him it’s up to 2 million... Manager: Ah.. I see. Then I think I can lower it somehow to between 1.7 and 1.8 million. Me: (Huh? That can be done?) Ah...? Really? But even that is still a little shocking... I’ll call my dad. Manager: Yes, then I’ll also go ask the director about the price and come back. You can call here! Me: Okay. After they left the consultation room, I called my older sister instead of my dad. Me: Sis... I came for a consultation, and they said 1.7 million... It’s so expensive, what should I do? Sis: If you like it, then do it there. Do you like it? Me: No, actually I’m not sure... But my friend had it done here, and that director isn’t at this hospital now. Still, I think I could do it here. Sis: Didn’t you say this was your first hospital? Shouldn’t you also go see other places? Me: But they said if I book right away now, they can give me a discount... Sis: What? Why did you even ask then? Do whatever you want, seriously. Me: No... (I felt like crying from this point on because I came alone to Seoul to make a decision about surgery on part of my face and had nowhere to rely on) I don’t know... Sis: Do whatever you want. But I think you should go see other clinics too. Me: (Looking back now, that was really damn right.) But how do I say I’m leaving now? What should I say? ㅜㅜ Sis: Just say it, idiot. Me: Noo- (the consultation manager suddenly came in) Ah, wait, I’ll call you later. I hung up with my sister and came back, and the consultation manager smiled and said, Manager: We were able to make it 1.7 million won ^_^ But only on the condition that you also post it on ㅂㅂTalk and use it for the hospital’s promotion! Me: Huh? My face? Manager: Haha no~ just the eyes. How would you like to pay now? Me: Ah.. yes. I paid the 100,000 won reservation deposit... and left..ㅋㅋ But after I left, no matter how I thought about it, even though I was grateful that they kept lowering the price, something felt off. If I had gotten it at the original price, what would have happened... I thought it was absurd, but then I also felt really scared that if they lowered it to half price instead of the original, maybe they’d do a sloppy job. And then when I was taking the elevator at that hospital, I rode with one of the doctors, and the doctor was almost sitting on the elevator rail, leaning his head forward the whole time. For some reason I just had a bad feeling, and the price kept getting lower, so I got really anxious and kept thinking about it, and in the end I just didn’t do it there. I had also heard so many times that people who had plastic surgery should avoid big hospitals... So because of all that, I felt uneasy and the price was too expensive, so I didn’t do it there. I got the reservation deposit fully refunded, and I think it was because I called within an hour of booking. I don’t know what happened to the people who did it there, but I had buried sutures done at another hospital for about 600,000 won, and it’s okay. I’m fairly satisfied. Satisfied... maybe not, I don’t know. I’m just going to be satisfied that I now have a double eyelid. This wasn’t really a surgery review, but I wrote a detailed consultation review because I actually wanted to see other people’s reviews too lololol Anyway, bye for now.
